About
Dr Al Tariq Sheik
Practitioner-researcher in cybersecurity — DeTrust brings a decade of research-grade assurance directly to organisations.
For the past decade I have worked where cybersecurity research meets real systems — at The Alan Turing Institute on Gates Foundation-funded national identity infrastructure, at WMG, University of Warwick on connected vehicles and space missions, and through Cambridge Judge Business School on deep-tech commercialisation. Evidence over opinion. Systems over checklists. Research over marketing. I built DeTrust to give organisations direct access to that standard of assurance.
PhD in Cybersecurity Engineering (Warwick, EPSRC–JLR funded) · MSc (NCSC Certified) · 21 publications · 170+ citations · h-index 10 · Honorary Research Fellow, WMG · Academic expert to the UK Information Commissioner's Office
